A series of hand drawn portraits of Polesworth High School pupils (1963) and friends from surrounding towns and villages in Warwickshire and Staffordshire – Polesworth, Dordon, Warton, Glascote, Amington, Bolehall, Tamworth and Atherstone.
All the original portraits were hand drawn by a local artist now living in London.

Friends, family, fellow artists and gallery insiders give a wealth of insight into the life of the late James Castle, a deaf, self-taught, American folk artist who learned to communicate effectively through his art. His drawings differentiate from the norm in that they are created with any accessible materials, such as using stove soot as ink. While much of his acclaim came after his death, Castle has provided an unconventional approach to art that broadens the mind to contemplate.

Artwork made entirely with Cheetos (and a little glue). Over 50 bags of different flavors used to sort different colors, sizes, and shapes. Nearly 2,000 individual Cheetos are used to create the portrait, all held into place with a little glue and varnish.
