How do I find a good portrait artist to draw my pet?

I am looking to get a pet portrait drawn of my dog, and am looking for an artist who is good but also affordable.

Looking for a modern portrait artist?

I’m looking for an artist who focuses mainly on portraits to study as part of my A level course. I’m interested in art that makes a statement, i also like ‘gritty’ and dark artwork. It’s preferable that the artist is modern and they MUST be reasonably well established.
I’m allso interested in the use of text within artwork.

Try Lucian Freud, who can certainly be described as a "portrait artist," though portraiture isn’t entirely his genre. As he says, he likes to paint people, and his work is often quite "grittt," or at least stark.

I need to find a portrait artist who painted realistically (plz open for more detail!)?

hi, i need help on finding a portrait artist who paints people realistically. What I mean by realistically is that he/she paints their subject as they are in real life rather than modifying the appearance of the subject to make them look more appealing. The only artist’s work which i liked so far is Lucian freuds portraits(the queen) . Does anyone know anyother artist who work in similar way?
