Can observant Jews become sculptors or portrait artists?

It is debatable among frum rabbinic authorities (some say yes ,others no), i heard one frum (observant ) Sculptor got around this issue of idolatry by only creating kinetic art.

Why in Victorian times artists love to portrait women with curvy bodies and large body structure?

Are the women back in 14th or 15th centure were much more bigger than women right now or what? because I was browsing the internat for the victorian and Leonardo Di Vinci style portraits of women. And all of the women are very big and large.

Victorian times were in the reign of Queen Victoria, in the 19th cenury . Voluptuous women were still the ideal then, the ladies laced themselves into corsets to give them curves, that is, large bosoms, a waist, curvy hips. They got hardly any excercise , apart from dancing, yet ate big meals, with lots of stodgy courses . Men liked them that way, because when they chased em, they were easy to catch , ha ha (joke , no lady ran, or even hurried, in those days )
