I love Joe C’s work but he will want to do work in his own style. I would take the time and make the trip to NY and see Anil Gupta. His portrait work is amazing as well as his miniature. http://www.anilgupta.com/portfolio/portfolio.htm

Joe Capobianco is one of the best tattooists in the US & he’s in CT. He specializes in women fantasy art but he used to do a lot of portrait work & he’s amazing. He’s very famous but be prepared to wait a long time for an appointment if he’ll even give you one at all:
