Scary portrait artists? :P?

I want a few artists to research that do sort of creepy/gothic paintings of human faces/forms lol. Best way to put it

Any artists?

I like work by Francis Bacon :)
Sinisiter! That’s a better word for what I meant :) very cool artist by the way.

Goya’s Horrors of War of course (a series of etchings). Blake is very bombastic. His drawing teacher John Henry Fuseli can be too, but he has his moments of glory — both in heroic and in horrifying pictures. American Comic book artist "Ghastly" Graham Ingels. H.R. Giger of course. But there is also the French Cartoonist Philippe Druillet.

Bacon’s sometime friend Lucien Freud and Paula Rego both have their moments, as does Max Ernst. Take a look at Picasso’s women, by the way, especially the women. Once you get used to their imagery they can be really creepy. Odilon Redon of course. And NEVER underestimate Gustave Dore.

Not a complete list. All of the above are worth looking up.
