Elephants are no … Elephants are no more special than any other creature, art is what I do, what this elephant is painting could be bested by 5 year old without being taugh each brush stroke, and again, get away with all this “special” and “peaceful” crap.
No. Don’t give me … No. Don’t give me that naive “good will” bullshit. You should realise that the “encouragement” you give to a PLANT is merely a figure of speech that doesn’t mean the same as it does for a conscious being.
Anyway there is no art being encouraged here. The elephants are taught to memorize shapes just to provide lulz for everyone else.
@Freecell82 … @Freecell82 Elephants are indeed very intelligent and have many of the mental capabilities we have, but this is indeed “fake” in the sense that this elephant has been trained to follow precise movements. If you think about it for a few seconds, it doesn’t make sense that an elephant would know more about art and composition than most children and many adults, being able to create a very stylized image. It’s impressive that it could memorize this, but it’s still somewhat of a trick.

So, for centuries, …
So, for centuries, animals have longed for humans to “encourage” them to do art? That is stupid.
