whats a Portrait photographers pay range?

im doing a paper on Portrait photographers and i need to know how much do they get paid?
HELPP!!

It ranges from minimum wage to potentially a million or more a year.

    The last time I checked in late 2008 most studios were paying their photographers between $9 and $12 per hour.

    Portrait photography is 80% marketing and 20% skills. If the photographers can market themselves well then they can make a lot of money, upwards of $10,000 per shoot even if their shots are mediocre. If he/she is a no body and have not branded themselves at all then I would say minimum wage in your part of the city even if they have mad skills.
