    It’s odd, I try to make myself do that, even on non-face objects, but I can’t seem to tell (unless its obvious) what’s more or less shaded than another part of the same object. For example, a piece of cloth, I get the basic shading, but i can’t do more detailed shading. i try to fake it and do okay, but it always comes out looking fake.
