Im also an artist … Im also an artist and holding the pencil is different then just writing a letter, it depends if you are drawing or shading, and in what direction. Its not that hard, just do whats best for you. These videos really help!
It’s like properly … It’s like properly holding a drum stick incorrectly, in the long run it’s going to be harder to imitate someone with the proper grip, but of course it can be done.
Does it really … Does it really matter how you hold a pencil? I have no coordination using the tripod grip. I hold it with my thumb pointer finger and middle finger. Im right handed as well.
True, but it’s also … True, but it’s also good to learn new ways of doing things, and it’s good to practice with them especially (like he said) when it helps you transfer from drawing to painting, or like with the sharpening, it helps you to save lead and get more for your money, just saying.
All the things he … All the things he told in the video are not that important. Pencil grip, pencil, sharpening etc are things which you can do the way you want.
